Welcome to my blog! For a long time I’ve sought something that would help to unify some disparate areas of my life that seem irrevocably linked – mainly my day job (I’m a self-employed designer and creative consultant ), my passion for playing the guitar and making music (semi-pro in between the design gigs) and my love of making art/artifacts (mainly from found/recycled materials). Tying all of these together is a general love of the arts, science, writing… you name it!
In addition, I have a wide range of friends/contacts who do interesting things, have exciting lives or make wonderful contributions to the world in numerous forms – and wanted a means of talking about these to a wider audience.
Hopefully (and I’m all a bit new to this whole blogosphere concept) this site will help me do all this and more!?
I chose the MistyLook by Sadish as the design template for this blog, as I really liked the general look and feel – thanks Sadish! I’ve customised it a bit by replacing the header, but I’ll probably keep changing/playing with this for a long time to come! The current one has a picture taken by my brother in France (I just liked the image) and I’ve played around with it a bit/added some vector elements.
Wow. I’m really loving your site so far. It’s clear that you have a passion for design. Keep up the great work!
I simply love your shed! GOOD LUCK!
How about visiting us sometime during the summer? I promise no painting, building etc…this time!
Our little butik is open one day a week selling everything you can think of with flames in the garden. Of course we would love a Clivey piece of flames artwork for the garden….the rustier the better!
Sometime during the summer I would like to arrange a folk music evening…just looking for a leader!!!!!! How about coming over and playing and inspiring us with some well known and not so well known folk music. Mourikka, beer and folkmusic evening. Give it some thought!
Lots of love, Nigel
