For the first time ever, I have just had the chimney in my house swept – and not a moment too soon from the amount of soot that came down!

What I really loved however was the ‘art’ and passion of the fabulous Mr M who did the job for me for me – using self-made equipment that has survived since the time his father started the business.

Here are a few shots – I particularly like the brush sticking up out of my chimney – not something one sees every day!?

I guess it just goes to show that, whatever one does for a living or hobby, a degree of professionalism, charm and enthusiasm goes a long way РMr M certainly seems to have a thriving little business going and it was  joy to have him in the house!
